Why is it essential to have photos on my Google My Business listing?
There are many reasons for adding photos to your Google My Business listing, but these are the top three:
The more complete a listing is, the more prominently it will feature in search engine results, so having photos will help you appear higher in the listings than competitors who don't have any.
If you don't put any photos on your Google listing, Google will do it for you, so your establishment will be represented either by a Google Street View image or a photo added by an Internet user (as shown in the screenshot below).
The click-through rate of listings with photos is 35% higher than those without photos
What is the best format for importing photos into Google My Business?
Photos must be in JPG or PNG format and must be between 10KB and 5MB in size.
This is the photo that appears when you reply to reviews

Best format: 720 x 720 pixels (minimum width 497 pixels; maximum 2048 x 2048)
If your photos do not meet these requirements, Partoo will automatically resize them so that they can appear on Google.
Which photo will appear first on my Google listing?
The cover photo is not necessarily the first photo that will appear on your listing; it's just a recommendation you make to Google. The photo that will be featured is chosen by the browser based on various criteria, including the following:
he size and quality of the image
Interaction and popularity (clicks, likes, etc.)
How accurately the image reflects the establishment it represents
Who can add photos to a Google My Business listing?
Any Internet user who has visited your establishment can subsequently add a photo to your listing, provided that it complies with the Google guidelines.
Do intellectual property issues apply to Google My Business photos?
Google My Business is bound by intellectual property laws.

How do I add 360° photos or virtual tours?
Virtual tours allow traders to showcase the inside of the establishment on Google My Business and Google Street View using 360° photos.
This type of tour will allow the Internet user to get a good feel for the establishment and imagine what it feels like being there, *as shown below*.
Publishing this type of photo on Google My Business requires certain equipment and expertise, meaning that it is preferable to use a company specialising in Google Street View to provide this service. Partoo has various partners who can help with this. Please contact us using the chat feature in the bottom right-hand corner and we will put you in touch!
